2024 Estate Roussanne

Truchard

Planted by hand. Farmed for keeps. This is what Carneros tastes like when nobody's rushing it.

Family Farmed Since 1974

The Land Behind the Wine

Tony and Jo Ann Truchard started farming this corner of Carneros over 50 years ago. Every grape in this bottle grew within a mile of the winery — no trucked-in fruit, no compromises.

Carneros earns its reputation the hard way: fog rolling in off San Pablo Bay each morning, cool afternoons that stretch the growing season, clay and volcanic soils that stress the vines just enough. For Roussanne, that slow ripening is everything — it's what builds the texture and the aromatics that make this variety so rare in California.

What to Pour This With

Roussanne's weight and herbal complexity mean it can handle dishes that would flatten a lighter white.

Aged Comté

"Carneros whites have a freshness other California appellations can't fake. Fog does that."

Wine Advocate / James Suckling — coming soon

Family-owned, estate-grown — every decision made on the property, not in a boardroom.

50+ years farming Carneros — longer than most California wineries have existed.

Roussanne is rare in California — fewer than 400 acres planted statewide. This is one of the best.
